Newfield Construction broke ground on the ACES High School project.

On October 27^th, Newfield Construction broke ground on Community Health Center’s recently acquired building which will serve as their home-base in Stamford once renovations are complete.

Newfield Construction has broken ground on the new 30,000sf dormitory and faculty housing facility on the campus of Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, MA.

Newfield Construction was awarded the Construction Manager at Risk contract for the new Police Department and Town Hall building to be built in the Edgewater Hills mixed-use development area of East Hampton, CT.

The construction of the new Maintenance of Way Building for the State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation in New Haven, CT is complete.

Construction has begun at the Campus Center and Dining Hall at Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. 

The Children’s Dental and Kozlowski Orthodontics, located in East Lyme, has been completed!

Newfield has been retained by Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) for Construction Management at Risk services on their new High School.

Newfield Construction has been selected to provide Pre-construction and Construction Management services for the improvements to Smalley Elementary School located in New Britain.

Chris Archer, LEED AP, received the Distinguished Merritt Award from the Architecture Construction Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program of Connecticut for his outstanding contributions to the program and for his commitment to improving the future of the design and construction industry workforce.

Common Ground High School in New Haven, Connecticut wins multiple awards.

Newfield Construction, Inc. is pleased to announce that Robert Daddona, Jr has joined the firm as Vice President of Business Development.

Newfield has just broken ground on $70M of renovations and additions at Southington's Kennedy and DePaolo Middle Schools. These two-year projects began mid-June with the movers clearing the work spaces.

On Thursday, October 10, Choate Rosemary Hall held a groundbreaking ceremony for the School's new St. John Hall. Joining Headmaster Alex D. Curtis, Trustees, and administrators, were student representatives and members of the mathematics and computer science department, as well as architects and construction management officials.

March 19, 2014: This date marks the Solemnity of St. Joseph and is the third time that Xavier High School has used this Feast Day to break ground for facilities to benefit students for years to come.

Newfield is sponsoring a toy drive for pre-teens and teenagers who are members of the Wilson Gray YMCA in the North End of Hartford. We are accepting donations until Thursday, December 13th. The groundbreaking of a larger Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) Reggio Magnet School of the Arts is not only turning the soil on Waterville Road but also for increased opportunities in education.

The employees of Newfield look for opportunities to give back to our communities and found a wonderful opportunity through Community Health Resources. Identified by this non-profit social service provider, Newfield sponsored a family including a 15-year old girl, 9- and 11-year old boys and their mother.

Newfield is proud to have been the constructor of the Center Street Apartments for Community Health Resources. This 27,000 square foot, 3-story building provides 10 apartments for homeless people with substance abuse or mental health issues and 10 apartments for people who qualify for affordable housing.

Newfield has been hired to construct a 35,000 square foot state-of-the-art research facility to take Pepperidge Farm to the next step in their corporate development. The building addition will be connected to the main headquarters by a glass enclosed internal walkway that will allow viewing of the research floor

In an effort to modernize and upgrade their aging school facilities, the Town of East Granby hired Newfield as their Construction Manager to renovate Seymour and Allgrove Elementary Schools.

Newfield is proud to announce Ray Pellerin as a Finalist for the 2010 AGC Industry Recognition Awards. He awarded this honor at ceremony of his peers held at the Aqua Turf. Construction was not Ray's first choice after High School and Trade School. He was interested in Diesel Mechanics and his first few jobs were for trucking and retail gasoline businesses.

The Bloomfield High School renovation team of Newfield Construction, Inc., Diggs Construction and Tai Soo Kim Partners mentored eighteen students from the Bloomfield area on a design and construction challenge. The student's challenge was to design a new library addition and landscaped courtyard for Bloomfield High.

An initiative of the Archdiocese of Hartford to fill a need in the Asylum Hill community for housing, Cathedral Green was borne to bring low-income housing to families on the verge of homelessness. This 60,000 adaptive reuse of the old St. Joseph Cathedral School has provided 28 two- and three-bedroom apartments to the community.

Newfield Construction Inc. is the proud recipient of the ABC's 2010 Excellence in Construction Award for the 35,000 square foot Riverview Banquet facility in Simsbury. This high-end facility caters to social gatherings ranging from intimate gatherings to grand affairs.
