As the leading manufacturer of Nivea skin care products, the Beiersdorf Corporation required additional R&D and Manufacturing space to keep up with demand for their products. Newfield was hired to build a 52,000 square foot addition to their Norwalk manufacturing facility. New spaces included manufacturing and mixing areas, loading and office space, all mechanically and electrically intensive and requiring careful construction coordination. Because of difficult site conditions, intensive site work was required for this two-story addition.
