As Construction Manager, Newfield completed the renovation of five 2-story buildings, totaling 38,000sf and 44-beds on a 10-week summer construction schedule. Within 36 of the four room townhouse-style apartments, new kitchen cabinets, counters and appliances were added, new flooring was laid and plumbing and electrical service was upgraded. Within the bathrooms, new flooring, tub surrounds, selective fixture replacement, plumbing and electrical work was performed. Reconfiguration and renovation of existing eight 10-person units, created two 4-person units with eight new kitchens and living rooms, window replacement, minor structural repairs, and new fire alarm system and fire sprinkler system.
