This new K-12, 56,000 square foot facility includes 3-stories of classrooms, laboratories, library, computer center, aquariums, auditorium, cafeteria and offices. The space was built to reflect course offerings including boat building, marine science, wood shop and home life studies, which complement the traditional core curricula. The steel structure wrapped in glass offers a contemporary twist on traditional architecture. Having come from a basement space, natural light was a key feature in the new school and is supplied by a 3-story glass wall. The beauty of the new facility coupled with its prominent location has brought a new centerpiece and sense of community pride to The Klingberg Family Centers and its surrounding community.
