Seymour Elementary School

In an effort to modernize and upgrade their aging school facilities, the Town of East Granby has hired Newfield as their Construction Manager to renovate their buildings. The Seymour School's 20,000 square feet will be renovated-as-new and an 11,600 square foot addition will be included. The addition will house classrooms, music and science rooms, cafeteria and serving kitchen. When the project is complete, Allgrove School's third graders will permanently move to Seymour. The project will be constructed in phases while the school is occupied and will meet LEED Silver standards.

Allgrove Elementary School

The Allgrove project will include minor renovations primarily for asbestos abatement, flooring replacement and toilet room renovations for ADA compliance. The Board of Education is housed in the Allgrove School and minor work will include asbestos abatement and code upgrades to their offices.
