The Hartford Magnet Middle School has teamed with Trinity College to expand its program from 6th through 12th grade.  This expansion allows students an early college experience with 120 students per grade level.  Located within Hartford’s Learning Corridor, Newfield acted as Construction Manager for this project which included a new 50,000sf academic addition and renovations.  Renovation areas within the Commons Building, which are shared with other Learning Corridor schools, included an increase in cafeteria seating and library adaptation to accommodate more open study areas.  Science laboratories were also renovated to meet high school curricula expectations. Included in the addition was a state-of-the-art work out area connected to a dance room.
