A 5,000 square foot radiology infill project for St. Francis included a new MRI and CT Scanner. Lead lined sheet rock was incorporated into the CT Scan facility and metal shielding was used for the MRI equipment. Since the radiology department abuts the emergency department, renovated trauma and observation rooms were included as part of this project and included HVAC, electrical and medical gas upgrades. A Life Star elevator was also added.
Another 6,000 square foot new MRI project was also awarded to Newfield. Relocation of the existing CT scanning equipment, new control, equipment and technician rooms and offices were included in the project. Again, renovated ED holding rooms were also a part of this project.
