Newfield Construction is currently working with the BIC Corporation to relocate their Consumer Products Division Headquarters from Milford to Shelton.

BIC purchased an existing 150,000 square foot office building which Newfield is substantially renovating. BIC will occupy 80,000 square feet of office space, including a new data center and IT department. All of these spaces will require new partitions, finishes and upgraded MEP services. In addition, the first floor public spaces will receive new finishes and lighting and an existing kitchen will be demolished and replaced. A two-story semi-circular addition will be constructed off the main lobby to accommodate additional dining space.

The entire building façade is being dismantled and replaced with metal wall panels, windows are being repaired and extensive site work has occurred.

As a corporate leader in sustainability efforts, BIC has designed this facility to attain LEED Silver Accreditation.
