Located within the space of the old Ridgeway Theater in Stamford, CT LA Fitness Sports Club offers some of the most state of the art gym equipment and fitness classes in the Fairfield County area.

This 45,000 square foot facility includes 3 stories of gym equipment, a cycling room, aerobics studio, full basketball court, five-lane lap pool and juice bar. The space also includes immaculate locker room facilities with rich cherry wood lockers, corian benches and countertops, a dry sauna and full shower facilities.

The interior excavation of the pool was challenging for Newfield. Extensive coordination was required to ensure that adjacent structures, utilities and neighboring tenants were not disturbed. The existing steel structure also posed many conflicts with new mechanical items and limited ceiling heights throughout the space. Extensive coordination efforts and “in-the-field” engineering allowed Newfield to maximize ceiling heights creating a comfortable space to work out.
