Newfield has been the exclusive construction provider at this parochial high school serving central Connecticut. As Construction Manager, Newfield has completed classroom additions, athletic facilities, media center and office renovations and additions. Completed in 2001 was a 20,000 square foot addition, including an auditorium, gymnasium and art room. At that time, Newfield also constructed new athletic fields for NCHS’s various athletic programs.

Another significant project that Newfield completed was the renovation and a 5,100 square foot interior courtyard infill to accommodate a new media center. New window walls provide full natural light to the general library. The new technology center includes high-tech lighting minimizing eye strain and a custom vaulted ceiling. The space also includes a conference room complete with white boards and ceiling mounted projection, small group study rooms, casual seating areas, librarian’s office and individual study carrels. The project’s finishes add warmth and depth to the space and include recessed lighting within a decorative tray ceiling. Marble entry, high grade carpeting and ceramic tile enhance the space.

Newfield also renovated a new office and lavatory for the President with decorative wall construction, recessed lighting, molded ceilings, and high-end carpeting.
