Newfield Construction recently completed this 22,000 square foot, two-building brick and glass facility. The housing component offers six apartments of 1,000 square feet each with either one-bedroom single story or one-bedroom plus loft space. The apartments feature windows and balconies offering plenty of light and air into the spaces. The building’s exterior skillfully blends nautical sculpture into the façade, acknowledging Madison’s Long Island Sound location.

The 9,000 square foot retail facility is designed in the classic mill style with exposed steel trusses that eliminate the need for interior columns and transom windows for indirect natural lighting. The window wall systems and metal roof creates high ceilings with great interior visibility from the street. And the exposed ductwork adds to the interior’s allure.
