The congregation of Wellspring, the former Kensington Baptist
Church, has been growing over the past few years and the parish
retained Newfield Construction Inc. to provide Construction
Management services for its new addition. The project included
a new 550-seat, 20,000 square foot orship facility with adjacent
fellowship spaces, classrooms, meeting rooms and cafe' with
commercial kitchen. The existing sanctuary will be renovated
and used for youth ministries including a youth church, classrooms
and a video arcade. The existing sanctuary has been built to
accommodate additional capacity at peak holiday times. Throughout
the building, areas for small gatherings have been considered
and the overall project has been very positively received..
