Dillon Stadium, originally constructed in the 1930’s, is an existing field and stadium that was used for sporting events, concerts and large community festivals. Now home to the Hartford Athletic professional soccer club, member of the United Soccer League, the stadium has been brought back to a focal point of the community to be enjoyed for years to come.

Newfield Construction was selected by the Capital Region Development Authority in conjunction with Hartford Sports Group (HSG) to provide construction management services to help to revitalize Dillon Stadium by bringing a United Soccer League franchise to Hartford. Newfield assisted the owner and primary tenant in constructing a 5,500 seat venue complete with new light system and new FIFA 2-star field turf playing surface. Other details include, updated locker rooms, restrooms, concessions and VIP seating areas to further enhance the fan experience, a new broadcast booth, AV/sound system and scoreboard that will allow games to be broadcast on several types of media. Additionally, the stadium and field will be used by local school teams and community events.
