Job Description:
Monitor, document, report, and enforce compliance with State of CT CHRO, CHFA, Municipal EEO/MWBE, and Federal workforce Programs. Assist project manager in monitoring monthly trade contractor payment application submissions to enforce compliance requirements. Provide payment application assistance to MWBE Contractors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively enhance and engage minority trade participation. Manage company outreach efforts. Develop and submit required company plans.
- Take the lead with communications and reporting with State, Municipal, and Federal authorities having jurisdiction.
- Manage the submission of trade contractors’ daily, weekly, and monthly utilization reports, required pre-job documents, and certified payroll reports (verification managed through a third-party consultant).
- Understand project-specific workforce and MWBE utilization requirements, certified payroll process, and reporting per project requirements.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate daily with key project stakeholders and represent the company’s best interest.
- Process and distribute meeting minutes for all pre-job meetings held with trade contractors.
- Provide accounting assistance to MWBE Contractors as may be required to assist in preparing payment applications.
- Transmit reviewed monthly trade payment applications, monitored and verified revisions and corrections, packaged final trade payment applications, and supporting documentation for monthly Owner payment applications.
Qualifications:
- College degree, or equivalent.
- Accounting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Etc.)
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Familiar with Document Management Software
(Procore or similar) - Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
