The Campus Center and Dining Hall project at the Loomis Chaffee School will create a lively student hub by bringing together student dining, activities, and social spaces in one facility. The 53,000-square-foot project includes renovations and additions to the existing building, compromised of a 1913 two-story dining hall and a 1969 one-story addition. Improvements will include a new institutional kitchen, a food-court style service, and two new dining rooms; the historic dining hall will be renovated to accommodate the student lounge.

Protection of existing trees and plants from damage and keeping entrances and roadways clear at all times. The safety of faculty and students and allowing the campus operations to run smoothly so as not to interfere with academics is a priority to Newfield Construction.
