Newfield Construction was selected to provide general contracting services for the new North Branford Police Department. This project involves the construction of a new 21,292 square foot police station, which will serve as a replacement for the existing facility located nearby. Within the new building, there will be a 3,000 SF Emergency Operations Center situated on the second floor. Additionally, Newfield Construction will be providing design/build services for a separate 4,000 square foot building,that serves as a 3 bay garage and storage facility.
The primary objectives of this project are to address current overcrowding issues at the police station and to equip officers and emergency personnel with the latest technology and resources. The new police station will help in enhancing operational efficiency and overall performance.
