SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Achieving a green building requires a holistic approach to the building’s design and construction. From building material and system specification during design, to efficient waste disposal and IAQ planning on-site, considering both short and long-term aspects will affect your building’s impact on the environment.

  • Energy or water-saving solutions
  • Natural resource conservation and non-toxic material usage
  • Using salvaged, recycled, or agricultural waste content products
  • Promoting materials contributing to an efficient, safe and healthy building
  • Newfield’s project management staff includes numerous LEED Accredited Professionals and Green Building Council members. They bring LEED credit ideas to both the design and construction phases of the project because of the number of LEED and sustainable projects with which they have been involved. They also work closely with the commissioning agent to make sure the building is properly commissioned for maximum efficiency.
