Newfield has completed projects for Yale University, including demolishing two existing buildings built in the 1920s and rebuilding one 24,000-square-foot facility on the same site, with Urban Outfitters as the primary tenant. This project required underpinning the adjacent structures and coordination between three design firms collaborating on this unusual urban project. Newfield worked diligently to maintain communication and coordination with the subcontractors on the project and the multiple designers working on the project. This atypical project also required close coordination with other building owners as work to secure adjacent facilities was undertaken.
Newfield has also provided campus residence hall power plant upgrades and civil site improvements.
