Newfield was retained for preconstruction budgeting, value engineering, phasing, and scheduling services for the YMCA’s pool addition and renovation. The project enhanced accessibility with a new elevator, three-sided observation deck, upgraded HVAC and lighting, new locker rooms, office space, and storage. The project required highly detailed phasing and sequencing plans since the pool will be used during construction. Newfield provided considerable budgeting and value engineering options allowing the YMCA to prioritize the various program elements that have been designed.
